Located about 30 minutes from the city of Cusco, the Sacred Valley of the Incas bears this name since it was highly appreciated by the Incas in ancient times due to its special geographical and climatic qualities. The fertile lands became extremely important for the expansion and survival of the Incan empire.

Join us as we visit the most prestige and interesting cities in the Valley. The tour includes:

Pisac – a town where you can see the farming terraces that were an ingenious way for the Inca agronomists to solve the problem of sowing on the slopes of the mountains. A wonderful town for local arts and crafts. Pisac still has the original adobe oven from centuries ago still producing empanadas for all to enjoy. One of the must visits while in Cusco.

Urubamba – known as the pearl of Vilcanota, was one of the most important agricultural centers of the Inca Empire and is currently the largest and most cosmopolitan city in the valley where we will enjoy a delicious and varied buffet lunch, based on Peruvian cuisine. This city is the fastest growing in the Valley due to its location, agriculture, and expansion in education efforts.

Ollantaytambo – The archaeological zone of Ollantaytambo is another monumental work of Inca architecture, it has been built on two mountains in a strategic place that dominates the entire valley and constituted as a military, religious, and administrative and agricultural complex. Ollantaytambo is also the only Inca city protected from modern expansion. You will witness many of the original structures from the Incan empire.

Chinchero – A town that also preserves the style of their time. A center where locals are experts in textiles. We’ll visit many areas to where many of Cusco’s textiles are created as well as the archaeological complex that presents unique and exceptional lithic architectural expressions.
