For various reasons in Peru, many children live in poverty or in shelters. During the pandemic, a means to education accessible for children worsened. Yes2Peru has teamed up with municipalities and other organizations to provide assistance in current, modern programs. As it stands, some are still virtual but most have reverted back to in-class care and instruction. Yes2Peru provides tutoring, teacher assistance, classroom supervision, and simple passing time with youth to give them some of the care they may or may not have at home or their shelter. We support wherever we’re needed. We work with all ages from pre-school to high school. You may be placed in a school, shelter, or non-profit needing assistance in providing support to youth.
All volunteers working with minors must submit a background check for the protection of those children.
